Funding Programs
The Department of Health and Social Services, directly or in partnership, supports a number of funding programs which assist Yukon residents in a variety of ways. The following funding programs are in place:Solutions that Work

The “Solutions That Work” Program is an initiative of the Yukon government and the Rick Hansen Foundation. Its purpose is to provide financial support to Yukon residents with spinal cord or other mobility-related disabilities. These funds are available to assist with the costs of personal and technical supports, accessibility requirements, and community participation. This fund is also available to non-profit organizations and others, including First Nations and municipalities, to assist with similar costs.
This new fund will have $20,000 available for distribution each year for five years. Individuals, groups or organizations may apply for up to $2,000 per application.

Youth Investment Fund - YIF

YIF is a pool of money that comes from many departments in the Yukon Government. The money pays for short-term projects for youth. This fund is administered by the Department of Justice. More information

Kids Recreation Fund - KRF
